"Our family stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. Traveling with our two children, aged 5 and 10, we were wonderfully cared for by “Jindy” from the Thai Front Office team. From the moment we checked in, her service was exceptional. She personally arranged for our luggage to be sent to our room, which was a fantastic two-bed room with a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a delicious cake and a lovely kid's amenity waiting for us, along with complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Jindy was incredibly sweet and courteous, providing us with excellent assistance and thorough information throughout our stay. Her attentiveness was a significant reason our family trip was filled with so much happiness. We created wonderful memories, from enjoying a ride on the swings together to savoring the delicious Zhen Dim Sum at the hotel. The convenience of having a Don Don Donki supermarket right there for our shopping needs, along with a variety of other shopping options, was a major plus. The heated swimming pool with its stunning skyline view was the perfect touch, especially considering the very affordable price. For any family planning a trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel"

"✨ An Unforgettable One-Night Stay, Perfected by Shirley's Kindness! ✨ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Where do I even begin? My one-night stay at the Grand Lisboa Palace was nothing short of spectacular, and it was all thanks to a truly magical start at the front desk. From the moment I walked into the breathtaking, art-filled lobby, I knew I was somewhere special. But the true highlight of my entire trip was being greeted by Shirley at the check-in counter. 🤩 Her warm, genuine smile immediately put me at ease after my journey. Her English was flawless, and her manners were absolutely impeccable – she is the epitome of grace and professionalism! To my utter delight and complete surprise, she kindly informed me that I had been upgraded from a Deluxe Room to a suite! 🥳🎉 This wasn't just a simple room change; it felt like being handed the golden ticket to an entirely new level of luxury. Thank you, Shirley, for your incredible generosity – you are a true asset to the Grand Lisboa Palace and the reason my stay was so memorable! And what a suite it was! 🏰 The room was staggeringly beautiful, blending modern luxury with intricate Portuguese-inspired details. The space was massive, the bed was a cloud ☁️, and the marble bathroom with its deep soaking tub was pure bliss. 🛁 The panoramic views of Macau from the window were the cherry on top! 🌆 Beyond the incredible room, the hotel itself is a destination. The architecture is a masterpiece, like a modern European palace. I spent time just wandering the halls, admiring the stunning art installations and the majestic, crystal-domed atrium. It’s a feast for the eyes! 🎨✨ While my stay was short, I made sure to enjoy their wonderful facilities: · The Indoor Pool: It is absolutely beautiful! 😍✨ So serene and elegant, with a classic design that makes you feel like you're swimming in a luxury spa. The perfect place to relax and unwind. 🏊♀️💫 · The Grand Buffet: The breakfast spread was incredible – a global journey for the taste buds with so many fresh, high-quality options. 🍳🍣🥐 · The Spectacle: Just being in the complex felt grand and exclusive. It’s more than a hotel; it’s an entertainment and art empire. I truly did not want to leave. From the world-class facilities to the stunning design, every detail was perfect. But it’s the people who make a place unforgettable, and Shirley’s kindness at the front desk set the tone for a perfect 5-star experience. I cannot recommend the Grand Lisboa Palace enough and I am already dreaming of my next visit! ❤️ #GrandLisboaPalace #MacauLuxury #SuiteUpgrade #BestService #ThankYouShirley #LuxuryStay #IndoorPoolBliss #SJM"

"Good service, good environment, all sightseeing spot in walking distance. I love the infinity pool, not too big but enough. We can spend a morning in hotel and then slow walk around. Hotel just above Lafayette Galleries, so you can shopping even in bad weather. B1 have a big super market, very convenient. Wine is on promotion ^^. Fireworks Festival is coming, remember to book a room tourist tower view."

"Usually i dont make comments on here. But my stay at this hotel was a pleasant one. I want to share with you all. I came for the show which was held at Macao outdoor performance venue. When we checked in, the staff at front desk was nice and friendly. We checked in at around 4pm, probably most of the rooms are occupied. Since we had made a request of high floor and non smoking one, he tried to look for a better room for us. Finally he assigned a room that far from lift and non smoking one which was located at middle floor after getting our consent. 'When we went into the room, we were surprised that we could see the venue from our window! And we could also see planes and the airport! The condition of the hotel and room looked quite new and clean. In our bathroom, there was a double basin! there was hand wash gel and i liked that aroma! The hotel is connected to a shopping mall. You may go thru the shopping mall to go to the venue easily. And there is a restaurant in the shopping mall operating around the clock which gave us a convenience after the show. There was also a room with vending machines and ice making machines on out floor. The price there was not rocket high. It is even cheaper than the one from the convenient store at the shopping mall lol The bed and pillows were cozy. You may also adjust the temperature and fan speed of the Air conditioner. After we checked out, we wanted to keep the luggage. Front desk staff was helpful and attentive, approached me before i made any request. And one of the concierge was always smiley, cheerful and friendly (i m sorry i didnt check your name tag but you were the one who passed me my luggage when i claimed it) Overall, it was a good experience. I hope the hotel may keep their good work."

"Our stay in the hotel was very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. One small improvement that could be made was the instant drinking water dispenser provided in the room. The volume of the machine's water container is small, so we needed to refill it with tap water very frequently. Also, when we wanted to drink water, the machine only fits the hotel cup, while small water bottles cannot fit, so we had to first fill up the hotel cup, then pour it into our water bottles. This is quite inconvenient."

"The location is superb, offering stunning views of the harbor and easy access to major attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a delightful array of both local and international dishes. The hotel’s amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were also impressive. Overall, I highly recommend the Macau Harbour View Hotel for anyone visiting the area!"

"I had a wonderful stay at The Londoner Grand in Macau. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special — they upgraded our room for free and even surprised my mum with a complimentary birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. The hotel environment is elegant, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Everything was spotless, from the lobby to the room, and the overall atmosphere felt luxurious yet comfortable. The location is also perfect — very convenient with direct access to shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend The Londoner Grand for anyone visiting Macau, whether for a family trip, celebration, or a relaxing getaway."

Where to Stay in Macau

Macau has a rhythm that feels lively yet relaxed, with a mix of old streets and modern buildings side by side. In the morning, you’ll see people walking along Senado Square with coffee in hand, shops opening slowly, and the smell of freshly baked pastries from small bakeries. Around the historic lanes, locals set up stalls selling snacks, souvenirs, and simple breakfast dishes while buses and taxis move steadily through the narrow roads. Near the waterfront, hotels welcome travelers who come for the views, food, and easy access to the city’s attractions. By late afternoon, the light turns warm, families stroll through Taipa Village, and friends stop for milk tea or Portuguese egg tarts. When night comes, the city glows with soft lights, the air turns cooler, and you can hear music and gentle chatter from restaurants serving noodle soups, seafood, and Macanese dishes. Staying in Macau feels easy, colorful, and full of small moments that make the trip memorable.

Tips for Booking Macau Hotels

Book Early for Busy Seasons

Macau gets crowded during Golden Week, Christmas, New Year, and major festival periods. Hotels in Cotai and the Macau Peninsula often fill up fast, and prices go up. If you plan to visit during these times, it’s better to book your room early so you have more choices and better rates.

Watch Out for Big Events

When Macau hosts concerts, boxing matches, or large conventions, hotel demand increases. Rates in popular areas like Cotai Strip can rise quickly. Booking ahead helps you avoid last-minute high prices and ensures you stay close to the places you want to visit.

Save with Booking Perks

Sites like Trip.com often have hotel discounts and special deals. First-time users may get extra savings, which means you can use the money for local food, shows, or shopping around Senado Square and Taipa Village.

Stay Smart with Location Choices

If you want to save more, you don’t always need to stay inside a big Cotai resort. These areas offer good value and easy access to attractions:

  • Taipa Village – Affordable hotels close to food streets, cafes, and local shops.
  • Macau Peninsula – Budget-friendly stays within walking distance of heritage sites like Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul.
  • Coloane – Quiet options near beaches and nature, great if you prefer a peaceful stay.

GGuest User## Facilities: Quite Disappointing On the first day, the shower drain was blocked, causing water to overflow everywhere. It was quite late, so I ended up using a bathmat to soak it up myself. The next day, I specifically called the front desk, and they left a message when I returned saying it had been resolved. To my dismay, it was blocked again the second day, forcing me to rush out mid-shower to call them. Additionally, the room phone seemed to have a faulty connection; I kept trying to dial but couldn't get a call through. Even after requesting an air purifier, my throat still felt quite stuffy. ## Service: During check-in, I specifically requested not to be given a room at the end of the corridor. Well, they assigned me the very first room. Two staff members even came up to demonstrate how to operate the curtains... (a bit excessive!). However, the room service staff were actually very good; they were patient and responded promptly to all my requests. ## Location: The location is indeed quite out of the way. Taxis are scarce during peak hours, whereas it was much easier to hail a cab at The Londoner during the same times. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with minors, as you'll have to walk a much longer route if you can't cut through the casino. I honestly don't know how people manage to explore all of Macau in a single day. For me, getting back from The Venetian felt incredibly far, and even getting to The Londoner was quite a trek. I was so exhausted I even considered taking a taxi just to get to Wynn. ## Cleanliness: The cleanliness was acceptable. I didn't experience any allergic reactions while sleeping, and overall, the room was quite clean. However, I suspect my throat discomfort was likely related to the carpet.

DDoufuzhazhaI visited during the off-peak season, and the price was incredibly good value – a real steal, especially as it won't be available at this rate again until after the Chinese New Year. It also happened to coincide with the International Fireworks Festival, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows served as a perfect viewing platform. All the photos, aside from the first two, were taken with my phone from inside the room; one of them beautifully captures the night view of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. I was so reluctant to leave, constantly looking back. The whole experience was simply fantastic. I'm already making plans to stay again!

AAnonymous UserLet's start with the positives: the facilities are quite new, and breakfast was decent, especially considering the price point in Macau. Now for the downsides. As other reviews have mentioned, I found the check-in process to be incredibly slow; it took half an hour, even though I was checking in late at night. The front desk initially claimed there were no standard rooms available and tried to assign me an accessible room. After I declined, they 'magically' found a regular room. I truly don't understand their reasoning for this. On the second morning, around 10 AM, after returning from breakfast, my room key card had stopped working. I had to wait quite a while for a new one to be delivered, which disrupted my plans for going out at noon. I complained about the service quality, and they offered a fruit platter as compensation. In summary, if you're not in a rush and aren't overly sensitive to service issues, you might consider this hotel. The overall value for money is acceptable.

Aakanemaomao## A Must-Stay L'Occitane Themed Hotel! I recently experienced The L'Occitane Hotel at Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations! 📍**Location & Transportation** While it's not in the city's core, getting around is a breeze. After taking a car to Grand Lisboa Palace, a 3-5 minute walk through the indoor, fully air-conditioned 'Macau Palace' walkway takes you directly to the hotel – no sun exposure at all! There's also a free shuttle bus right outside that goes straight to Wynn Palace, making exploring Cotai hassle-free. 🍳**Breakfast** The hotel breakfast is average. I'd recommend trying the options at the nearby Grand Lisboa Palace instead: - 'The Tea House' opens at 10 AM, serving authentic Cantonese dim sum. - 'The Buffet' offers excellent value for money with its breakfast deals. Inside The Macau Palace, you'll also find various noodle stalls and food stands, offering more down-to-earth local choices. 🌟**Highlights** 1️⃣ A full set of L'Occitane amenities! CCC TourThis hotel is right next to the Jai  Alai Hotel. From Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, it only takes a few minutes to walk here, so not having a good view isn't a big deal—it's really convenient. Although they're currently renovating the exterior, and it can be a bit noisy during the day because they’re working next door, it’s not a problem if you’re out exploring during the day. Also, this hotel has an indoor pool. It's not huge, but you don't have to worry about the weather affecting it, which is a nice bonus! Another thing is that this hotel is very close to the Racing Museum, making it super convenient to visit. It's suitable for both adults and kids, so it's definitely worth a trip!

MMel HeytsyuRoom is spacious and clean Location is okay its near grand lisboa within 5-15 mins walk and maybe 20mins walk in senado square. Front desk is friendly and accomodating. However staff in pool area doesnt speak much in english and we encounter unpleasant service in swimming pool area, staff prioritize what they called “ the Regular chinese old woman” that always goes there and she acted like she own the swimming pool and staff there gather in a corner talking pointing and looking at us and we know theyre talking about us and as we make ourselves enter in the swimming pool.like we have a common sense and know what we are doing and we are just on the side of the pool and they keep on like bothering us that we should be just on the other side when we are just on the corner minding our own business coz that old woman feel entittled and thinks that she owns the place! It make us feel bothered instead of being relaxed swimming we felt unwelcomed. We ended up getting pissed and left and we go to the shower room and we just touch a towel and one old woman again get angry out of nowhere and says not to touch the towels and she asked if we are from philippines and said we must needed to be assisted and not to touch things. We just entered the shower room for like 10 seconds and ended up having this heated argument with the rude lady and the staffs just keeps on yapping to each other with their language instead of settling the misunderstanding between us and the old lady . not leaving us like we didnt exists.before we enter one kind staff said we can take towels in that shelves and later on the staff explains that those old chinese rude womans are regular there and we just need to let their rudness slide not sure if the hotel tolerate this kind of guests behavior. We got offended as first timers to checked-in to your hotel and your so called “regular”makes your guests feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and ruined our experience instead of having a good one. They obviously can be defined as “Racist”.

GGuest UserWe booked a triple room for convenience, but it turned out to be exceptionally small. The window offered a view of tightly packed residential buildings, reminiscent of the old Kowloon Walled City, making it impossible to open the curtains. Despite being a triple room, only two tooth mugs were provided. When we asked the front desk, they directed us to housekeeping, who explained that while three sets of toiletries were given, their policy stipulated only two tooth mugs per room. Then, in the middle of the night, the air conditioning broke. A technician worked on it for nearly an hour, but by 1 AM, it still wasn't fixed, and we were simply given a fan. At checkout, there was no apology or explanation whatsoever regarding the AC problem. To add insult to injury, upon checking out, we realized one room key card was missing, and they immediately charged us 50 RMB, citing their policy. It really feels like these rules are only for guests!

Hhgx1972The location is excellent, right by the Outer Harbour waterfront, making it perfect for morning strolls. Macau is quite compact, and the Ruins of St. Paul's are just a short walk away. The hotel has a traditional style, but all its facilities are very well-maintained. It was spotlessly clean. The service was incredibly warm, attentive, patient, and polite. A great bonus was that the front desk staff were fluent in standard Mandarin.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in Sha Tin, and the room size is quite generous by Hong Kong standards. I was upgraded to a king-sized room due to a bathroom issue, and it even offered a river view. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong!
